Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020: A Review of Key Governance Provisions

The Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 was signed into law on 7th August 2020, introducing an extensive re-modelling of the Nigerian corporate practice. President Muhammadu Buhari’s assent to the legislation repealed the thirty-year old Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 with a view to further improving the ease of doing business and aligning with international best practice.
