Liquidation involves winding up the affairs of a company as well as disposing of the business assets to satisfy its liabilities. It includes dismantling the company’s structure in an orderly way. It is only registered business like, companies, partnerships, and incorporated trustees (‘organizations’) that can be liquidated or file requests for liquidation.
